What’s Inside

Everyday we wake up and we have fear

Fear that we might get made fun of because of the way we look

Everyday we get dressed

We try to get clothes that makes us look cool

Everyday we hide

We hide from the sadness that lies within us

Everyday I hide what I really look like

I do this because I’m afraid of what people might think of me

In class I’m quiet

I’m quiet because I’m afraid that I will get the wrong answer

Inside there is happiness

There is happiness in every soul
